Barista Training
We offer a full training programme for new baristas as well as courses for the experienced. For the individual barista we can arrange a tailor-made training schedule. Below are some of the most common classes and work shops.
Barista Basics
For beginners or long-time baristas who wants to start afresh. This course covers espresso brewing techniques and milk steaming in theory and practice. It is focused on getting the basics right and you will learn how to make the basic drinks such as espresso, ristretto, americano, cappuccino and caffé latte.
Advanced Barista
An in-depth training course foremost focusing on the basic elements of espresso preparation. Each element will be broken down and explained thoroughly. Combined with a cupping session, the advanced course aims to give you a new understanding of the craftsmanship of the barista.
Train the Trainers
Coffee shops and cafés often face the problem of ensuring quality on a day-today basis. Train-the-Trainers is specifically aimed at the person(s) in charge of the quality - managers, supervisors or lead baristas. The goal is to build a foundation for in-house training and provide techniques and tools for training baristas.
